From the Land

The forest, in a jar.

Everything here is made on the property, from the property — tapped, foraged, and put up by the same hands that steward the trail. Available to guests at the cabin and at our workshops.

Maple syrup

Tapped from our own sugar maples and boiled down on the property — small batches, dark and woodsy.

Reishi mushroom tincture

Wild reishi from the surrounding forest, slow-extracted the traditional double way.

Jewelweed anti-poison-ivy salve

The forest's own remedy: jewelweed grows right beside the poison ivy it soothes. Made with local beeswax.

Children making jewelweed salve at a picnic table in the forest, orange jewelweed blooming around them

Or make it yourself

Every jar here started as a workshop.

We teach all of these — cutting jewelweed and rendering the salve, tapping and boiling maple, drying and grinding mushrooms, steeping witch hazel bark. Each one runs in the short window when the plant is ready.

Classes are free or low cost, and you take home what you made.
